5. The County shall pay for any necessary transportation and detention expenses for defendants in cases covered under this Agreement. 6. The Court, through the Clerk of District Court, shall provide for recording and management of all files and papers for cases covered under this Agreement. 7. The Court shall provide and pay for courtroom supplies, salaries of the district judge and staff, office-related expenses and jury expenses in the adjudication and disposition of cases covered under this Agreement. 8. Except of mandatory administration fees imposed under N.D.C.C. 929-26- 22 and fee assessments for funding crime victim and witness programs, all fees, fines, costs and forfeitures, and any other monetary consideration collected from cases under this Agreement, except as noted in 1(9 below, and any delinquent fines and costs will be collected by the Clerk of the District Court and distributed in the following manner: a. The County will receive forty percent (40%) of all amounts collected. b. The Court will receive sixty percent (60%) of all amounts collected. All amounts due the County shall be transmitted by the Clerk of the District Court to the County on a monthly basis. The Clerk of the District Court shall account to the County for all monies collected and distributed under this Agreement. 9. As an exception to 1(8 above, the County shall be entitled to 100% of the fees, fines, costs, forfeitures and any other monetary consideration collected from cases relating to any ordinance it may enact relating to overweight vehicles.
