Commission Minutes-March 5, 2007 3181 REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS MARCH 5, 2007 1. MEETING CALLED TO ORDER Chairman Scott Wagner called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all members present as follows: Ken Pawluk, Darrell Vanyo, Robyn Sorum, Vern Bennett and Scott Wagner. 2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE Robyn Sorum led the Pledge of Allegiance. 3. MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed Mrs. Sorum moved and Mr. Vanyo seconded that the minutes of the previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. 4. AGENDA, Order approved MOTION, passed Mr. Pawluk moved and Mr. Bennett seconded to approve the order of the agenda as amended with the addition of a court services agreement submitted by the state's attorney. Motion carried. 5. CONSENT AGENDA APPROVED MOTION, passed Mr. Bennett moved and Mr. Vanyo seconded to approve the consent agenda as follows: On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. a. Approve Resolution #2007-4, commending Daria Rudnick for her 26 years of service as the jail matron, as follows: RESOLUTION #2007-4 WHEREAS, Daria Rudnick has worked as the Cass County Jail Matron for 26 years, providing meals to inmates; and WHEREAS, Daria Rudnick served the citizens of Cass County with her committed service at the Cass County Jail; THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Board of County Commissioners of Cass County does hereby extend its appreciation to Daria Rudnick for her diligent service to Cass County; BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That this resolution be inscribed upon the permanent records of the proceedings of the Board of County Commissioners and a copy be forwarded to Daria Rudnick. b. Adopt Resolution #2007-5 implementing spring load restrictions on county highways, as follows:
