Commission Minutes-February 20, 2007 3175 REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS FEBRUARY 20, 2007 1. MEETING CALLED TO ORDER Chairman Scott Wagner called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all members present as follows: Ken Pawluk, Darrell Vanyo, Robyn Sorum, Vern Bennett and Scott Wagner. 2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE Ken Pawluk led the Pledge of Allegiance. 3. MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed Mrs. Sorum moved and Mr. Vanyo seconded that the minutes of the previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. 4. AGENDA, Order approved MOTION, passed Mr. Bennett moved and Mr. Pawluk seconded to approve the order of the agenda. Motion carried. 5. CONSENT AGENDA APPROVED MOTION, passed Mr. Pawluk moved and Mr. Bennett seconded to approve the consent agenda as follows: On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. a. Authorize the chairman to sign a purchase order to ROO Mack for two Road Department tandem axle trucks in the amount of $191,284. b. Amend Commission Policy Manual Section 14.01, Standing Committees, and appoint Mark Johnson as the county planning commission representative on the Road Advisory Committee, as recommended by the Cass County Planning Commission. c. Receive monthly financial statement from the Auditor's Office for the month ended January 31, 2007. d. Grant final plat approval for Job Subdivision located in Pleasant Township, Section 35, Township 137N, Range 49W. e. Approve raffle permit for Sandhills Archery Club to be held February 24,2007, at the Sandhills Archery Club in West Fargo, North Dakota. f. Receive and file Indemnity Bond for Lost Instrument to Ashwaq Noor and authorize the county auditor and county treasurer to issue a duplicate check. g. Authorize the chairman to sign a quit claim deed to convey abandoned highway right-of-way in Section 2, Everest Township, to Southeast Rural Vision Enterprises. h. Contract approval: Discovery Benefits-a cafeteria plan for flexible benefits program.
