<br />Notification of Award <br />Commence Services <br /> <br />February 5. 2007 <br /> <br />March 1, 2007 <br /> <br />A complete original and two exact duplicates of the proposal will be submitted to: <br /> <br />Cass County Jail <br />Food Service Proposal <br />450 34th St S <br />Fargo, North Dakota 58103 <br /> <br />Proposals must be received no later than 5 p.rn., January 31, 2007 at the address set forth above. <br />Proposals received after 5 p.m. on January 31,2007 will not be considered. <br /> <br />Questions regarding bid specifications may be directed to the following individual: <br /> <br />Glenn Ellingsberg <br />701 271-2914 <br /> <br />IV. QUALIFICATIONS OF BIDDER <br /> <br />To be considered for award of this contract, the vendor must meet the following minimum <br />qualifications: <br /> <br />A. It is preferred that the vendor be organized to providing institutional and/or volume food <br />service, and should have previous correctional feeding experience with proven effectiveness <br />in administering corrections food service programs. <br /> <br />B. The vendor must have a proven ability for a contract start-up by March 1. 2007. <br /> <br />C. The vendor must have qualified and trained staff with sufficient back-up personnel to <br />successfully complete the contract requirements, A corrections-experienced Registered <br />Dietitian must be available for menu development. <br /> <br />D. The vendor must submit a certified copy of a current financial report of the company. If the <br />company is a subsidiary or division of a corporation, the relationship of the vendor must be <br />clearly delineated in the proposal. <br /> <br />E. The vendor shall submit a list of five (5) references, including name of institution, address, <br />and contact person and phone number. <br /> <br />V. SELECTION CRITERIA - CRITERIA FOR EVALUATION <br /> <br />The vendor will be selected based on the bidder's written proposal and any requested presentations. <br />The Selection Committee will review all proposals and make their recommendations for selection. <br />The primary criteria used in making a selection will be as follows: <br /> <br />A. The vendor's demonstrated experience and expertise in correctional or similar facilities. <br />Experience shall include current service in facilities of similar size and volume, as well as <br />experience of staff, district manager, dietitian, transition team, and local and regional support <br />network. <br /> <br />2 <br />
