Cass County Commission
February 12, 2007
Page 2

I believe Sheriff Laney and Glenn Ellingsberg, Jail Administrator, will be
present at the meeting to address other concerns you may have.

SUGGESTED MOTIONS:
Move to approve the project with a budget of $109,500 (base bid minus
handheld PDA's) with Accurate Controls to do the work while in Cass
County working on the jail expansion project. Funds above the budgeted
$25,000 would come from the current building fund.

OR

Move to approve the project with a budget not to exceed $89,500, with
$25,000 coming from the buildings and grounds budget and the additional
funds coming from the current building fund; this motion is contingent on
Cass County's ability to purchase and install the new locks.

OR

Move to delay the project and further discussion until the 2008 budget year.

cc: Sheriff Laney
Glenn Ellingsberg

~ :v'AIiI

--m'llMi:n~R 1)"i1l'
