Commission Minutes-February 5,2007 3170 REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS FEBRUARY 5, 2007 1. MEETING CALLED TO ORDER Chairman Scott Wagner called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all members present as follows: Ken Pawluk, Darrell Vanyo, Robyn Sorum, Vern Bennett and Scott Wagner. 2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE Robyn Sorum led the Pledge of Allegiance. 3. MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed Mr. Bennett moved and Mr. Vanyo seconded that the minutes of the previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. 4. AGENDA, Order approved MOTION, passed Mr. Pawluk moved and Mrs. Sorum seconded to approve the order of the agenda with addition of a transportation planning agreement submitted by the county engineer and approval of a temporary position for Social Services. Motion carried. 5. CONSENT AGENDA APPROVED MOTION, passed Mrs. Sorum moved and Mr. Pawluk seconded to approve the consent agenda as follows: On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. a. Approve a special event permit for alcoholic beverage sales by The Holiday Inn for a business event at Doug Burgum's property located at 10 Tallgrass Trail, Horace, North Dakota, during the hours of 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM on January 20,2007. b. Authorize the chairman to sign a purchase order from HP Direct for replacement of a server that manages file and printer services for Cass County in the amount of $4,561.01. c. Contract approval: Family Healthcare Center-purchased services agreement for physician services and lab analysis at the Cass County Jail. d. Authorize the chairman to sign a transportation planning agreement with the Metropolitan Council of Governments and the City of Harwood to study pedestrian issues along Cass County Highway 22. e. Ratify Social Service Board action of February 5, 2007, to approve a temporary position in the Child Protective Service Unit for two months at a C42 pay grade, not to exceed a cost of $7,542.
