<br />MEMORANDUM <br /> <br />To: Cass County Board of Commissioners <br /> <br />From: John Waller, Administrator, Southeast Regional Child Support Enforcement Unit <br /> <br />Date: February 2,2007 <br /> <br />Re: Lmprovement Plan/Proposed Motion <br /> <br />I would like to address the commissioners on the issue of the Southeast RCSEU <br />Improvement Plan. <br /> <br />I have enclosed the following for review and background: <br /> <br />*Southeast RCSEU Improvement Plan <br />*Budget Impact of Reorganization <br /> <br />The Improvement Plan was produced pursuant to the Calendar Year 2007 Budget <br />Instructions the Unit received from the State Office. The plan was submitted to, and <br />approved by, the State office. The Plan considers terminating the position ofInvestigator <br />upon the retirement of David Carlson, and instead changing the two part-time attorneys to <br />full-time status. <br /> <br />PROPOSED MOTION <br /> <br />I propose a motion to authorize increasing the two part-time Child Support attorneys to <br />full-time attorneys, and to terminate the position of Investigator in the Regional Child <br />Support Enforcement Unit. <br />
