I am honored to serve as Sheriff of Cass County. I have several <br />goals and projects in mind for the Sheriff's Office and I look forward to working with each of <br />you in serving the citizens ofCass County. <br /> <br />In the past week, I have met with several representatives of the Sheriff s Office, including <br />Sheriff Rudnick and other members of his command staff Following those meetings, and with <br />Sheriff Rudnick's cooperation, 1 have organized a transition team consisting of Chief Deputy Jim <br />Thoreson, Cass County Jail Sergeant Judy Tollefson, and administrative supervisor Deb Bond to <br />assist me with details related to the transition. <br /> <br />As part of this transition process, I invite each of you to freely give me any advice or comments <br />you might have. I recently spoke with Commissioner Vanyo concerning general matters of the <br />Sheriff s Office and we will be meeting within the next week to discuss any ideas or thoughts he <br />has as the Commissioner who holds the portfolio for the Sheriff's Office, <br /> <br />I look torward to visiting with each of you as well in the coming weeks to discuss any thoughts <br />or comments you might have regarding the transition process.
