Commission Minutes-November 6, 2006 3141 REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS NOVEMBER 6, 2006 1. MEETING CALLED TO ORDER Chairman Vern Bennett called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all members present as follows: Scott Wagner, Ken Pawluk, Robyn Sorum and Vern Bennett. Darrell Vanyo was absent. 2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE Ken Pawluk led the Pledge of Allegiance. 3. MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed Mrs. Sorum moved and Mr. Wagner seconded that the minutes of the previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. 4. AGENDA, Order approved MOTION, passed Mr. Pawluk moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to approve the order of the agenda with the addition of a quit claim deed to John G. and Opal A. Olson. Motion carried. 5. CONSENT AGENDA APPROVED MOTION, passed Mrs. Sorum moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to approve the consent agenda as follows: On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. a. Approve the revised Cass County Emergency Operations Plan and direct Cass County Emergency Management to disseminate the plan as required. b. Grant final plat approval for Turner Subdivision, Section 36, Township 137N, Range 52W in Cass County, North Dakota. c. Amend the 2006 North Dakota Recorders Information Network (NDRIN) budget by increasing the computer equipment line item by $100,000. d. Approve omitted assessments according to notices sent to property owners by the county auditor. e. Receive and file Indemnity Bond for Lost Instrument to Lee James Allen and authorize the county auditor and county treasurer to issue a duplicate check. f. Contract approval: North Dakota Department of Transportation-traffic safety grant in the amount of $5,500 for overtime expenses to remove alcohol and drug impaired drivers from roadways. g. Authorize the chairman to sign a quit claim deed with John G. and Opal A. Olson for redemption of their property in Harwood's Third Addition to the City of Fargo for payment of all delinquent taxes.
