The new path will also get children off busy ND Highway #18, when <br />traveling from the school to the park. <br /> <br />The multi-use bike path on the south side of town will 3e the first phase of a multi- <br />phase project to provide a bike path from the south side of Casselton, south to the <br />Industrial Park, There is currently a pool being built ir the Industrial Park, which will <br />be open to the public. This proposed bike path woulc provide a transportation route <br />for the public to get from the residential area of town to the public pool. <br /> <br />11.WHO WILL OWN THIS PROPERTY WHEN PROJECT I$ COMPETED? <br /> <br />The City of Casselton <br />The City of Casselton is a public entity, <br /> <br />12. MATCHING FUNDS PROVIDED BY <br /> <br />The matching funds will be provided by the City of C[sselton. The funds will come <br />from the City's sales tax fund. <br /> <br />13. RIGHT OF WAY FOR THIS PROJECT WILL BE PR3VIDED BY <br /> <br />The project will be built on City or NDDOT right-of-way or easements owned by the <br />City. The City of Casselton will be responsible for assuring that all right-of-ways and <br />easements are properly acquired. <br /> <br />14. MAINTENANCE OF THIS PROJECT WILL BE PROVIDED BY <br /> <br />The City of Casselton will maintain all bike paths buil: through this project. <br /> <br />15. ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACTS <br /> <br />1. Land Use - The existing land use is residenti~J. Ail areas disturbed will be <br /> residential yards. All disturbed areas will be seeded to match surrounding <br /> area, <br />2. Farmland - There will be no farmland disturbed with this project. <br />3. Social - The project will provide a mom socia environment for the community <br /> by giving people better access to the outdoor activities provided in the <br /> community. <br />4. Economic - There will be no economic impa~ from this project. <br />5. Relocation - This project will not displace any people or businesses. <br />6, Wetlands - There are no wetlands near the p'oje~ site. <br />7. Flood Plain - The project is not located in the flood plain. <br />8. Threatened or Endangered Species - There are no threatened or <br /> endangered species in the project area. <br />9. Cultural Resources - There are no eligible property in tl~e project vicinity. <br /> <br /> <br />
