The county began taking these lots in 1997 and Mr. Montplaisir IS recommending that they be offered as a group for a minimum sales price of $50,000. The auditor's office will send a letter to the respective city auditors, informing them of the minimum sales price and date of the public hearing. Owners have until the auction to redeem their property by paying the total of taxes, interest, and penalties. The annual tax sale will be held in the auditor's office at 10:00 AM on November 21, 2006. MOTION, passed Mr. Vanyo moved and Mrs. Sorum seconded to set the minimum sales price on tax-forfeited properties according to the list provided by the county auditor and the county director of tax equalization. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. 12. VOUCHERS, Approved MOTION, passed Mr. Vanyo moved and Mrs. Sorum seconded to approve Voucher No. 211,314 through Voucher No. 211,736. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. 13. LEGISLATIVE LUNCHEON; COUNTY COMMISSIONERS ASSOCIATION; MEETING UPDATES, Committee reports Mrs. Johnson is in the process of planning the legislative luncheon to discuss issues relating to the upcoming legislative session. She has received seven items from department heads for discussion. Mr. Wagner was elected president of the North Dakota County Commissioners Association for 2007 at their convention held last week in Bismarck. Commissioners and staff reported on meetings they have attended in the past two weeks, as well as upcoming meetings. 14.
