<br />Commission Minutes-September 18, 2006 3132 <br /> <br />The board was in agreement to direct Mrs. Johnson to organize a luncheon between <br />local legislators and department heads. <br /> <br />Mr. Vanyo attended a regional dispatch board meeting two weeks ago to discuss the <br />possibility of West Fargo joining the dispatch center. The board was receptive, agreed to <br />work with West Fargo, and drafted preliminary documents that were sent to the city's <br />police chief. Mr. Vanyo has been in contact with the police chief and West Fargo is in the <br />process of studying the financial ramifications before making a final decision. He will <br />continue to update the board on any further developments. <br /> <br />Commissioners and staff reported on meetings they have attended In the past two <br />weeks, as well as upcoming meetings. <br /> <br />11. CORRESPONDENCE, Received and filed <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Sorum moved and Mr. Vanyo seconded to receive and file <br />correspondence outlined by the secretary as follows: Motion carried. <br /> <br />Letter from the North Dakota Department of Health regarding a county waste <br />transporter permit that was inactivated because of failure to pay the annual fee <br />of $25. <br /> <br />12.
