Approve omitted assessments according to notices sent to property <br />owners by the county auditor. <br />f. Approve a charity local permit for a poker tournament to be held on <br />October 28, 2006, at the Knickerbocker Liquor Locker in Hickson, <br />North Dakota, for Gyle Peterson benefit. <br />g. Contract approval: <br />Swingen Construction Company-bridge repair between <br />Sections 10 and 15 in Wiser Township in the amount of <br />$22,800; <br />SRF Consulting Group, Inc.-professional services agreement <br />for preliminary and final design on Cass County Highway 17 <br />from Cass County Highway 6 to Cass County Highway 16. <br /> <br />6. RESOLUTION #2006-12, MIDA Bond Application of Sisters of the Presentation BVM <br />Proiect <br />Attorney James Stewart was present to answer questions concerning the application of <br />the Sisters of the Presentation BVM Project for MIDA Bond financing in an amount not to <br />exceed $450,000 for the purpose of renovating and equipping of a six-unit multifamily <br />housing facility located at 1120 30th Avenue South in Fargo. Mr. Stewart said a public <br />hearing is scheduled for October 16, 2006. He said the project is strictly for renovation of <br />the existing facility and the county has no liability on payment of the bonds. <br /> <br />Mr. Pawluk asked about the interest rate and direct costs to the Sisters of the <br />Presentation relating to the bond. Mr. Stewart said the rate has not been set, but <br />believes it will be in the 5% range and that the organization will pay between $12,000 and <br />$13,000 in fees. <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner asked about the bond limit, and County Auditor Michael Montplaisir said with <br />today's request it will bring the total just under the $10 million annual limit. <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Pawluk moved and Mrs. Sorum seconded to adopt a Resolution <br />Relating to a Project under the Municipal Industrial Development Act, <br />Giving the Project Preliminary Approval, Subject to a Public Hearing <br />(Sisters of the Presentation BVM Project). On roll call vote, the motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />
