Commission Minutes-September 18, 2006 3127 REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS SEPTEMBER 18, 2006 1. MEETING CALLED TO ORDER Vice Chairman Scott Wagner called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with members present as follows: Ken Pawluk, Darrell Vanyo, Robyn Sorum and Scott Wagner. Vern Bennett was absent. 2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE Darrell Vanyo led the Pledge of Allegiance. 3. MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed Mrs. Sorum moved and Mr. Pawluk seconded that the minutes of the previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. 4. AGENDA, Order approved MOTION, passed Mr. Vanyo moved and Mrs. Sorum seconded to approve the order of the agenda. Motion carried. 5. CONSENT AGENDA APPROVED MOTION, passed Mr. Pawluk moved and Mr. Vanyo seconded to approve the consent agenda as follows: On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. a. Approve the grant funding application of the Parenting Resources Center program in the amount of $14,350 from the Alex Stern Foundation. b. Receive and file Indemnity Bonds for Lost Instrument to Curtis Olien and to Valley Rental Service, and authorize the county auditor and county treasurer to issue duplicate checks. c. Receive monthly financial statement from the Auditor's Office for the month ended August 31,2006. d. Adopt resolution of condolence for the family of Deb Ness, as follows: RESOLUTION OF CONDOLENCE #2006-11 WHEREAS, the Board of Cass County Commissioners has learned of the death of Deb Ness, 507 Nicole Lane, Dilworth, Minnesota, on September 7, 2006; and WHEREAS, Deb Ness worked in the Cass County Auditor's Office for twelve years, until retiring due to medical reasons last year; WHEREAS, Deb Ness was a dedicated and valuable employee for Cass County Government;
