Mr. Pawluk questioned if all
State's Attorney Office work would need to take place between the hours
of 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM. He said could employees work alternate shifts or
possibly even have some work contracted out. Mr. Burdick said he has
researched contract work in the past and found no interest; however, he
is willing to further explore the option. He also stated that alternate
office hours would not be an option as there is need for staff to interact.
Mr. Pawluk questioned the possibility of obtaining space in the Regional
Child Support Office. Mrs. Johnson replied Regional Child Support does
have two conference rooms as well as private offices for the investigator
and case analysts. Mr. Pawluk said we have to research creative ways to
solve the issue. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously.

3. There is some work left on Drains 10 and 40.

Mr. Beilke said the Maple River Water Resource District is asking for four mills. An
invitation was extended to the commission to visit the Maple River Dam. The
commission will arrange a time to do a group tour.

Mr. Buringrud was present from North Cass Water Resource District. He said the
board is requesting four mills as well.

No board members from Rush River Water Resource District were present. They are
also requesting four mills with no change in the budget.

The request for the Red River Joint Water Resource District is the same as last year
at one mill.

Mr. Pawluk asked if any progress has been made in addressing water issues with
adjoining counties.
