<br />Commission Minutes-August 10, 2006 3097 <br /> <br />Juvenile Detention <br />Revenue projections have increased by $24,000 due to increased boarding rates for 2007. <br />The budget includes $6,694 for medical assistance training; $20,000 for upgrades to door <br />locks and controls; and $5,150 for a digital video recorder and three cameras. <br /> <br />Mr. Bennett left the meeting at 12:25 PM and Mr. Wagner chaired the remainder of the <br />meeting. <br /> <br />9. VALLEY WATER RESCUE <br />Pete Fendt, Mike Nord, Pat Connor and Sherry Johnson were present and serve as <br />volunteers for Valley Water Rescue. Mr. Fendt said their request of $38,100 is the same as <br />last year. Mr. Montplaisir said the county contributes $4,000 and bills the remaining amount <br />to the other participating governmental agencies. Mr. Wagner thanked the volunteers for <br />the service they provide to the community. <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Sorum moved and Mr. Pawluk seconded to approve the 2007 <br />preliminary budget for Valley Water Rescue in the amount of $38,100. <br />On roll call vote, the motion carried with all members present voting <br />"Yes" and Mr. Bennett being absent. <br /> <br />10.
