The <br />responsibility for maintaining and further developing the plan rests with the <br />Altiris and Customer Project Managers. This project will use Altiris' standard <br />weekly status reports, A sample Altiris status report is included in this <br />appendix. <br /> <br />As part of the 'Risk Mitigation' process, the Altiris Project Manager will create a <br />Risk Mitigation Brief that will describe the following: <br /> <br />. Current Risk Mitigation Process based on description below <br /> <br />. Any formally identified risks to the project <br /> <br />. The current ranking of the identified risks <br /> <br />. Any alternate or backup plans for Red or Yellow ranked risks <br /> <br />. Current status notes for Red or Yellow ranked risks <br /> <br />The Risk Mitigation process typically consists of the following steps during an <br />engagement: <br /> <br />. Identify any known issue or scenarios that have a negative impact or affect <br />on either the Customer or on Altiris. <br /> <br />. Rank the overall issues and scenarios according to the level of damage that <br />could be done to the Customer's environment or business services. The <br />ran kings are typically color coded into <br /> <br />o Red - high risk <br /> <br />o Yellow - medium risk <br /> <br />o Blue - some risk but very manageable or trivial. <br /> <br />. Rank the overall issues and scenarios according to the level of damage that <br />could be done to the overall engagement, (Same ranking system as before) <br /> <br />. Develop backup or alternate plans for the project plan and courses of action <br />to help avoid these issues.
