H C~ Cas'see ~ '~tY~'2 006:0803'... ~ i '."i.....,',.....,..... ..-.....,....... .'..p ag~' 9" <br /> <br />Exclusions <br /> <br />Customizations (as defined in Appendix D) are excluded from the project scope <br />and tasks unless they are explicitly defined as activities listed under section 2 <br />(Project Scope and Assumptions) above or listed in Appendix B (Change Control). <br /> <br />Customizations that are explicitly listed as project activities must be <br />acknowledged as such, signed, and dated in Appendix A (Acknowledgement of <br />Completion). Once signed and dated, customizations will be subject to a 30-day <br />acceptance period, during which the customer can fully test the customization in <br />their environment, Unless the customer notifies Altiris during the 30-day <br />acceptance period that the customization is unacceptable, acceptance is implied. <br /> <br />For further detail on customizations, please read Appendix D. <br /> <br />3. Customer Responsibilities <br /> <br />Customer shall cooperate with and assist Altiris in the performance of the services, <br />and will provide the following resources necessary for Altiris' performance <br />hereunder as specified in this SOW: <br /> <br />1. Customer will appoint and make available a project manager designated to <br />work with the Altiris consultant for all aspects related to the completion of <br />Services and who will have authority to act on behalf of Customer. <br /> <br />2, Customer will provide access to staff resources (dedicated or part time) as <br />required by this project. <br /> <br />3. Customer shall ensure that adequate workspace is available at each facility <br />where services will be provided by Altiris. It is highly desirable that the <br />Altiris consultant have access to the internet, whether by telephone line or <br />direct network access, to access services and utilities essential to the <br />success of the engagement. <br /> <br />4. Altiris Responsibilities <br /> <br />. Altiris will ensure that Altiris staff assigned to this engagement are <br />reasonably knowledgeable in the Altiris products included in this SOW, <br /> <br />. Altiris will ensure project issues are brought to the attention of the Customer <br />Project Manager in a timely manner to ensure timely resolution with minimal <br />impact to the project timeline. <br /> <br />@ 2006 Altiris, Inc.
