<br />Cass County Delinquency Plan <br /> <br />Youth Court <br /> <br />Goals <br />Youth Court's goal is to prevent and deter juvenile delinquency in Cass'county by holding <br />offenders accountable in front ofajury of their peers. Objective are: <br />I, Youth who participate will gain a greater understanding of the justice system <br />2, Youth will be successfully diverted from the Juvenile Court when appropriate <br />3, Adults involved as volunteers will become more aware of juvenile justice issues and how <br />to help <br />4. Provide opportunities for youth who participated as defendants to later participate as a <br />juror as a means of increasing competencies <br />5.
