Commission Minutes-April 3, 2006 3053 REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS APRIL 3,2006 1. MEETING CALLED TO ORDER Chairman Vern Bennett called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all members present as follows: Scott Wagner, Vern Bennett, Ken Pawluk, Darrell Vanyo and Robyn Sorum. 2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE Bonnie Johnson led the Pledge of Allegiance. 3. MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed Mrs. Sorum moved and Mr. Vanyo seconded that the minutes of the previous meetings of March 6, 2006, and March 30, 2006, be approved as written. Motion carried. 4. AGENDA, Order approved MOTION, passed Mr. Pawluk moved and Mr. Vanyo seconded to approve the order of the agenda. Motion carried. 5. CONSENT AGENDA APPROVED MOTION, passed Mr. Vanyo moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to approve the consent agenda as follows: On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. a. Approve Resolution #2006-5, commending Joyce Schepp for her 37 years of service as the secretary to the Board of Cass County Commissioners, as follows: RESOLUTION #2006-5 WHEREAS, Joyce Schepp has worked for Cass County Government for 37 years as Commission Secretary; and WHEREAS, Joyce Schepp has distinguished herself in her work with the Board of County Commissioners; and WHEREAS, Joyce Schepp has fervently worked to uphold the best interests of Cass County and was conscientious, loyal and diligent during her 37 years of service; THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Board of County Commissioners of Cass County does hereby congratulate Joyce Schepp upon her retirement from county government. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That this resolution be inscribed upon the permanent records of the proceedings of the Board of County Commissioners and a copy be forwarded to Joyce Schepp.
