<br />Commission Minutes-April 3, 2006 3053 <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />APRIL 3,2006 <br /> <br />1. MEETING CALLED TO ORDER <br />Chairman Vern Bennett called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all members present <br />as follows: Scott Wagner, Vern Bennett, Ken Pawluk, Darrell Vanyo and Robyn Sorum. <br /> <br />2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br />Bonnie Johnson led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> <br />3. MINUTES APPROVED <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Sorum moved and Mr. Vanyo seconded that the minutes of the <br />previous meetings of March 6, 2006, and March 30, 2006, be approved <br />as written. Motion carried. <br /> <br />4. AGENDA, Order approved <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Pawluk moved and Mr. Vanyo seconded to approve the order of the <br />agenda. Motion carried. <br /> <br />5. CONSENT AGENDA APPROVED <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Vanyo moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to approve the consent <br />agenda as follows: On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />a. Approve Resolution #2006-5, commending Joyce Schepp for her 37 years of <br />service as the secretary to the Board of Cass County Commissioners, as <br />follows: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #2006-5 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Joyce Schepp has worked for Cass County Government for 37 years <br />as Commission Secretary; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Joyce Schepp has distinguished herself in her work with the Board of <br />County Commissioners; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Joyce Schepp has fervently worked to uphold the best interests of <br />Cass County and was conscientious, loyal and diligent during her 37 <br />years of service; <br /> <br />THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Board of County Commissioners of <br />Cass County does hereby congratulate Joyce Schepp upon her retirement from <br />county government. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That this resolution be inscribed upon the <br />permanent records of the proceedings of the Board of County Commissioners and a <br />copy be forwarded to Joyce Schepp. <br />
