Commission Minutes--November 1, 1999 2055 DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS NOVEMBER 1, 1999 1. MEETING TO ORDER Chairperson Robbie Quick called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all members present as follows: Paul Koenig, John Meyer, Alon Wieland, Donna Schneider and Robbie Quick. 2. MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded that the minutes of the previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. 3. AGENDA, Order approved MOTION, passed Mr. Meyer moved and Mr. Koenig seconded to approve the order of the agenda as printed. Motion carried. 4. PERSONNEL POLICY, Ratify action of Personnel Overview Committee to amend Section 7.40. Compensatory Time MOTION, passed Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to ratify Personnel Overview Committee action of October 18, 1999, amending Personnel Policy Section 7.40 relating to accrual of compensatory time. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. 5. ABATEMENT APPLICATIONS, Haugrud: Hudson: Busch Agricultural: Huseby: Eide MOTION, passed Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded that abatement #4124 for Victor & Jennifer Haugrud be reduced to $199,500 as recommended by the Stanley Township Assessor and the Director of Equalization. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. MOTION, passed Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded that abatement #4130 for David Hudson be approved as recommended by the City of Hunter and the Director of Equalization. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. MOTION, passed Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded that abatement #4131 for Busch Agricultural Resources, Inc. be reduced to $4,717,300 as recommended by the City of West Fargo and the Director of Equalization. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously.
