<br />Commission Minutes--September 20,1999 2046 <br /> <br />Commissioners and staff reported on meetings they have attended in the past two weeks, as <br />well as upcoming meetings. Commissioners Wieland, Quick, Meyerand Koenig have registered <br />to attend the North Dakota Association of Counties and County Commissioners convention in <br />Minot on October 3-5, 1999. Other county staff will also be in attendance at the convention. <br /> <br />Mr. Koenig offered to donate four used fax machines to county department heads if they could <br />use them. He said Robert Holmbeck, Information Services Director, is looking at one to see if <br />it is something that could be used in a county office. <br /> <br />13. CORRESPONDENCE, Received and filed <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to receive and file <br />correspondence outlined by the secretary as follows: Motion carried. <br /> <br />letter signed by Stephanie L. Thorpe and Donald W. Hart concerning drainage and <br />erosion in the Chrisan and Forest River Subdivision areas; <br />Chief Justice Gerald W. VandeWalle update regarding state funding of Clerks of District <br />Court; <br />letter from Barnes Township Board of Supervisors concerning any future improvements <br />on a two-mile stretch of 32nd Avenue from 45th Street south to County Road 17. <br /> <br />14.
