<br />Commission Minutes--August 16, 1999 2023 <br /> <br />DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />AUGUST 16, 1999 <br />1. MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairperson Robbie Quick called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with four members present <br />as follows: Paul Koenig, John Meyer, Alon Wieland and Robbie Quick. Donna Schneider was <br />absent. <br /> <br />2. MINUTES APPROVED <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Meyer moved and Mr. Koenig seconded that minutes of the last <br />regular meeting held August 2, 1999, and minutes of the special <br />meetings held August 9, 10, and 11, 1999, be approved as written. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />3. AGENDA, Order approved <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Koenig seconded to approve the order of <br />the agenda. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />4. SOCIAL SERVICE EMPLOYEES, Eligibility workers week <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Meyer seconded to recognize September <br />12-18, 1999, as North Dakota Eligibility Workers Week in recognition <br />of the effort made by eligibility workers across the State in <br />determining benefits for public assistance programs to deserving <br />families. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />5. PERMIT FOR RAFFLE, St. Peter's Lutheran Church Women <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Meyer seconded to approve raffle permit <br />for St. Peter's WELCA to be held on October 9, 1999, at St. Peter's <br />Lutheran Church in Leonard, North Dakota. On roll call vote, motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />6. PERMIT FOR SPECIAL EVENT, Playmaker's Sports Cafe & Bar <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Meyer seconded to approve special event <br />alcoholic beverage permit for Playmaker's Sports Cafe & Bar to be <br />held on August 21, 1999, at Bonanzaville. On roll call vote, motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />7. COMMISSION MEETING CANCELED, North Dakota Association of Counties delegate <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Meyer seconded to cancel the October 4, <br />1999, Cass County Commission meeting due to the 1999 North Dakota <br />Association of Counties and County Commissioners annual meeting <br />
