<br />Commission Minutes--May 3, 1999 1976 <br /> <br />The jail design team will hold their first meeting Thursday, May 13, 1999, beginning at 8:30 AM <br />in the Commission Room with the consultants from Foss Associates and Kimme and Associates <br />being present. <br /> <br />A meeting of the County's Flood Master Planning Committee will be held Thursday, May 6, at <br />10:00 AM in the Commission Room. Moore Engineering Company will present their report. <br /> <br />15. CORRESPONDENCE, Received and filed <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Koenig seconded to receive and file <br />correspondence outlined by the secretary as follows: Motion carried. <br /> <br />letter of appreciation from jail staff to the Commissioners and citizens of Cass County for <br />the election support to finance construction of a new jail facility; <br /> <br />letter from North Dakota Division of Emergency Management inviting Glenn Ellingsberg, <br />Cass County Emergency Manager, to participate in North Dakota Boys State activities <br />in Wahpeton on June 9-11, 1999, and the State will pay his related transportation, <br />lodging and meal expenses; <br /> <br />North Dakota Department of Transportation information as follows: 1999 flood damage <br />from spring runoff to county federal aid routes, bid opening in Bismarck May 21, 1999, <br />for intersection improvements on county road six miles west of Gardner, and bridges with <br />Alert Code 3 requiring immediate attention, as well as bridge scour and channel profile <br />listing. <br /> <br />16.
