Commission Minutes--March 1, 1999 1946 <br /> <br />DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> MARCH 1, '1999 <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairperson Robbie Quick called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with four members present <br />as follows: Paul Koenig, John Meyer, Donna Schneider and Robbie Quick. Alon Wieland was <br />absent. <br /> <br />MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Koenig seconded that the minutes of <br /> the previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. <br /> <br />AGENDA, Order approved MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Koenig moved and Mr. Meyer seconded to approve the order of <br /> the agenda with the following changes: '1) move item on highway <br /> right-of-way quit claim deed from the consent agenda to the regular <br /> agenda; and 2) add flood update to the regular agenda. On roll call <br /> vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />PERMITS FOR RAFFLE, Norman Evangelical Lutheran Church; Embden Community Club <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Koenig moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to approve raffle <br /> permit for Norman Evangelical Lutheran Congregation of Kindred to <br /> be held on April '1'1, '1999, at Norman Lutheran Church in Kindred, <br /> North Dakota. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Koenig moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to approve calendar <br /> raffle permit for Embden Community Club to be held May 26 through <br /> June 25, '1999, at the Embden Center in Embden, North Dakota. On <br /> roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />NORTH DAKOTA INSURANCE RESERVE FUND, Proxy holder appointed <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Koenig moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to appoint the <br /> chairperson of the North Dakota Insurance Reserve Fund (NDIRF) <br /> Board of Directors as proxy holder at the annual meeting of NDIRF to <br /> be held April '15, '1999, in Bismarck. On roll call vote, motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> <br />CONTRACTAPPROVAL, Public Information Inquiry Agreement; North Dakota Department <br />of Human Services; Southeast Human Services MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Koenig moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to approve the <br /> following contracts submitted by respective department head and <br /> <br /> <br />
