<br />Commission Minutes--December 21, 1998 1914 <br /> <br />Mrs. Quick said the next Flood Master Plan Committee meeting will be held next month. She <br />also discussed the discontinuation of the Welfare Fraud Program afterthe grant expires in June, <br />1999. <br /> <br />Mr. Goff said he does not want to see the Welfare Fraud Program end and has been in touch <br />with Governor Ed Schafer regarding this issue. He noted that his office developed the program <br />for Cass County. <br /> <br />19. CORRESPONDENCE, Received and filed <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Koenig seconded to receive and file <br />correspondence outlined by the secretary as follows: Motion carried. <br /> <br />Community Development Block Grant Program pre-application form for fiscal year <br />1999 projects; <br /> <br />notice from Ernie Pyle, Corporate Controller of Federal Beef Processors, Inc., that <br />their West Fargo facility will be closing on February 16, 1999, affecting about 285 <br />employees. <br /> <br />20.
