<br />Commission Minutes--December 21, 1998 1907 <br /> <br />DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />DECEMBER 21,1998 <br /> <br />1. MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairperson Donna Schneider called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all members present <br />as follows: Robbie Quick, Paul Koenig, John Meyer, Alon Wieland and Donna Schneider. <br /> <br />2. MINUTES APPROVED <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Koenig moved and Mrs. Quick seconded that the minutes of the <br />previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. <br /> <br />3. AGENDA, Order approved <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Meyer moved and Mrs. Quick seconded to approve the order of <br />the agenda with the following additions to the consent agenda: <br />contracts with 3-D Specialties and Honeywell, Inc.; resolution of <br />condolence to Commissioner Alon Wieland; and allowing Vern Kepler <br />to speak on the proposed 76th Avenue South Red River bridge <br />corridor during the regular agenda. Motion carried. <br /> <br />4. BUDGET ADJUSTMENTS AND TRANSFERS, County Park: State's Attorney: Sheriff: Social <br />Services <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Quick moved and Mr. Koenig seconded to amend the County <br />Park Budget for 1998 by $3,500 with the additional funds to come from <br />the General Fund. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Quick moved and Mr. Koenig seconded to loan $10,000 from the <br />General Fund to the County Park Fund to cover excess expenses for <br />1997 and 1998, with the funds to be repaid through increased park <br />district levies in future years. On roll call vote, motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Quick moved and Mr. Koenig seconded to amend the State's <br />Attorney Asset Forfeiture Fund from the current $5,000 to $8,787 with <br />the additional funds coming from future asset forfeitures. On roll call <br />vote, motion carried unanimously. <br />
