Commission Minutes--December 21, 1998 1907 DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS DECEMBER 21,1998 1. MEETING TO ORDER Chairperson Donna Schneider called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all members present as follows: Robbie Quick, Paul Koenig, John Meyer, Alon Wieland and Donna Schneider. 2. MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed Mr. Koenig moved and Mrs. Quick seconded that the minutes of the previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. 3. AGENDA, Order approved MOTION, passed Mr. Meyer moved and Mrs. Quick seconded to approve the order of the agenda with the following additions to the consent agenda: contracts with 3-D Specialties and Honeywell, Inc.; resolution of condolence to Commissioner Alon Wieland; and allowing Vern Kepler to speak on the proposed 76th Avenue South Red River bridge corridor during the regular agenda. Motion carried. 4. BUDGET ADJUSTMENTS AND TRANSFERS, County Park: State's Attorney: Sheriff: Social Services MOTION, passed Mrs. Quick moved and Mr. Koenig seconded to amend the County Park Budget for 1998 by $3,500 with the additional funds to come from the General Fund. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. MOTION, passed Mrs. Quick moved and Mr. Koenig seconded to loan $10,000 from the General Fund to the County Park Fund to cover excess expenses for 1997 and 1998, with the funds to be repaid through increased park district levies in future years. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. MOTION, passed Mrs. Quick moved and Mr. Koenig seconded to amend the State's Attorney Asset Forfeiture Fund from the current $5,000 to $8,787 with the additional funds coming from future asset forfeitures. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously.
