<br />Commission Minutes--December 7, 1998 1900 <br /> <br />DEPARTMENT HEADS-PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />DECEMBER 7,1998 <br /> <br />1. MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairperson Donna Schneider called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with members present as <br />follows: Robbie Quick, Paul Koenig, John Meyer, Donna Schneider. Alon Wieland was absent. <br /> <br />2. MINUTES APPROVED <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Meyer moved and Mr. Koenig seconded that the minutes of the <br />previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. <br /> <br />3. AGENDA, Order approved <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Quick moved and Mr. Meyer seconded to approve the order of <br />the agenda with the following additions to the consent agenda: 1) <br />Highway Departmentvehicle request; 2) Region V Children's Services <br />Coordinating Committee Foster Care Recruitment Grant; 3) Second <br />Replat of Part of Springvale Cemetery; and 4) Resolution of <br />Condolence to the family ofthe late Joe Dill; and moving Commission <br />Policy amendment regarding elected offices hiring responsibilities <br />from the consent agenda to the regular agenda. Motion carried. <br /> <br />4. BEER AND LIQUOR LICENSES, Renewed for 1999 <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Koenig moved and Mrs. Quick seconded to renew county beer and <br />liquor licenses for 1999 for the following applicants, subject to <br />approval by respective township boards, the State's Attorney and the <br />Sheriff: On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Club 94 - Lambert and Jeanne Hersch, Casselton <br />Knickerbocker -Roger Wigtil, Hickson Bar & Lounge, Inc., Hickson <br />Bronco Bar - Richard and LaVonne Schroeder, Chaffee <br />Wild Rice Bar & Grill, Inc. - Gladys Pfennig, Wild Rice <br />BEER LICENSE ONLY: <br />Morris Service - Roger and Mildred Morris, Leonard <br />Red River Valley Fair Association - Box 797, West Fargo <br />The Shooting Park, Inc. - John Lawrence Nelson, RR#1, Horace <br />Leonard Golf Club - C.N. Richards, Leonard <br /> <br />5. SALE OF TAX-FORFEITED LOTS, County deeds signed <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Koenig moved and Mrs. Quick seconded to authorize the <br />chairperson and the county auditor to sign county deeds for property <br />sold at the tax-forfeited sale held November 17, 1998. On roll call <br />vote, motion carried unanimously. <br />
