On roll call <br />vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Meyer seconded to add N % of NW 1/4 of <br />NW 1/4 in 27-139-54 of Howes Township for the year 1998 in the <br />amount of $45,000 residential structure, according to notice from the <br />county auditor to Richard & Karen Smith, Alice ND. On roll call vote, <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Meyer seconded to add SE 1/4 less right <br />of way in 31-143-55 of Rochester Township for the year 1998 in the <br />amount of $15,000 residential structure, according to notice from the <br />county auditor to Kenneth G. Warner, Valley City ND. On roll call vote, <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Meyer seconded to add part of the E % <br />(13.39 acres) in 16-141-55 of Cornell Township for the year 1998 in the <br />amount of $12,000 residential structure, according to notice from the <br />county auditor to Devere Wical, c/o Alan & John Miller, Buffalo ND. <br />On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />7. SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT, Donation accepted of a pickup truck for bomb sQuad <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Meyer seconded to accept donation of a <br />pickup truck to the Sheriff's Department bomb squad from Burlington <br />Northern & Sante Fe Railway, with routine maintenance and insurance <br />to be covered by the county. On roll call vote, motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />8. ROAD DEPARTMENT, Purchase order for six vehicles and two gravel conveyors <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Meyer seconded to authorize the <br />chairperson to sign purchase orders for three pickups and three <br />utility vehicles for the Highway Department, totaling $125,484.00. On <br />roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Meyer seconded to authorize the <br />chairperson to sign a purchase order for two gravel conveyors for the <br />Highway Department, totaling $4,263.04. On roll call vote, motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />
