Commission Minutes--November 2, 1998 1886 DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS NOVEMBER 2, 1998 1. MEETING TO ORDER Chairperson Donna Schneider called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all members present as follows: Robbie Quick, Paul Koenig, John Meyer, Alon Wieland and Donna Schneider. 2. MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed Mr. Meyer moved and Mr. Wieland seconded that the minutes of the previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. 3. AGENDA, Order approved MOTION, passed Mr. Meyer moved and Mr. Koenig seconded to approve the order of the agenda, adding one item to the consent agenda to ratify Social Services Board action from their meeting held earlier today. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. 4. LOST INSTRUMENT BOND, Receive and file for Chase Manhatten MOTION, passed Mrs. Quick moved and Mr. Meyer seconded to receive and file Indemnity Bond on Lost Instrument for Chase Manhatten, and authorize the county treasurer and the county auditor to issue a duplicate check. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. 5. EXTENSION SERVICE, Budget adiustment for grant MOTION, passed Mrs. Quick moved and Mr. Meyer seconded to adjust the Parenting Resource Center mini-grant revenue and expenditure line items in the amount of $598.00, according to memorandum from Brad Cogdill, Cass County Extension Service Chairman, dated October 16, 1998. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. 6. PERMIT FOR RAFFLE, Chaffee Lions Club MOTION, passed Mrs. Quick moved and Mr. Meyer seconded to approve raffle permit for Chaffee Lions Club on the date of December 3, 1998, at the Farmers Union Oil Company in Embden, NO. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. 7. SOCIAL SERVICES BOARD, Ratify action of November 2. 1998 MOTION, passed Mrs. Quick moved and Mr. Meyer seconded to ratify the Social Services Board action of November 2, 1998, to approve request for
