<br />Commission Minutes--October 19, 1998 1881 <br /> <br />DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />OCTOBER 19, 1998 <br /> <br />1. MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairperson Donna Schneider called the meeting to order at 3:40 PM with all members present <br />as follows: Robbie Quick, Paul Koenig, John Meyer, Alon Wieland and Donna Schneider. <br /> <br />2. MINUTES APPROVED <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Koenig seconded that the minutes of the <br />previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. <br /> <br />3. AGENDA, Order approved <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Meyer moved and Mrs. Quick seconded to approve the order of <br />the agenda with the addition ofa contract with Moore Engineering for <br />County Road 14 improvements. Motion carried. <br /> <br />4. INFORMATION SERVICES, Budget adiustment for PC software <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Koenig moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to authorize the County <br />Auditor to increase the Information Services 1998 PC software <br />budget and decrease the 1999 PC software budget by $19,000, <br />according to memorandum from Michael Steiner, Information <br />Services, dated October 8, 1998. On roll call vote, motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />5. HOLIDAY CLEARING BUREAU, Employee solicitation <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Koenig moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to allow the solicitation <br />of clothing items from Cass County employees to be given to the <br />Holiday Clearing Bureau for distribution to needy adults. On roll call <br />vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />6. ASSESSMENTS OF OMITTED PROPERTY, Danbury Apartments: Fargo Venture <br />Corporation: Frank & Lila Charon <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Koenig moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to add Lots 1-7, Block <br />4, West Acres 4th, as omitted property for the year 1998 in the amount <br />of $4,521,000, according to notice from the county auditor to <br />Danbury Apartments, Fargo, ND. On roll call vote, motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Koenig moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to add Lot 1, Block 1, <br />Builders Square 1st Addition, as omitted property for the year 1998 in <br />
