Commission Minutes--October 19, 1998 1881 DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OCTOBER 19, 1998 1. MEETING TO ORDER Chairperson Donna Schneider called the meeting to order at 3:40 PM with all members present as follows: Robbie Quick, Paul Koenig, John Meyer, Alon Wieland and Donna Schneider. 2. MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Koenig seconded that the minutes of the previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. 3. AGENDA, Order approved MOTION, passed Mr. Meyer moved and Mrs. Quick seconded to approve the order of the agenda with the addition ofa contract with Moore Engineering for County Road 14 improvements. Motion carried. 4. INFORMATION SERVICES, Budget adiustment for PC software MOTION, passed Mr. Koenig moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to authorize the County Auditor to increase the Information Services 1998 PC software budget and decrease the 1999 PC software budget by $19,000, according to memorandum from Michael Steiner, Information Services, dated October 8, 1998. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. 5. HOLIDAY CLEARING BUREAU, Employee solicitation MOTION, passed Mr. Koenig moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to allow the solicitation of clothing items from Cass County employees to be given to the Holiday Clearing Bureau for distribution to needy adults. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. 6. ASSESSMENTS OF OMITTED PROPERTY, Danbury Apartments: Fargo Venture Corporation: Frank & Lila Charon MOTION, passed Mr. Koenig moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to add Lots 1-7, Block 4, West Acres 4th, as omitted property for the year 1998 in the amount of $4,521,000, according to notice from the county auditor to Danbury Apartments, Fargo, ND.
