<br />Commission Minutes-June 1, 1998 1813 <br /> <br />DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />JUNE 1,1998 <br /> <br />1. MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairperson Donna Schneider called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all members present <br />as follows: Robbie Quick, Paul Koenig, John Meyer, Alon Wieland and Donna Schneider. <br /> <br />2. MINUTES APPROVED <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Quick seconded that the minutes of the <br />previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. <br /> <br />3. AGENDA, Order aoproved <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Meyer moved and Mr. Koenig seconded to approve the order ofthe <br />agenda with the addition of a contract for the public safety mobile <br />communications project and a contract for foster care recruitment on <br />the consent agenda. Motion carried. <br /> <br />4. LOST INSTRUMENT BOND, Received and filed for Serkland. Lundberg. Erickson <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Koenig moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to receive and file <br />Indemnity Bond on Lost Instrument for Serkland, Lundberg, Erickson <br />and authorize the county treasurer and the county auditor to issue <br />duplicate checks. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />5. PERMIT FOR SPECIAL EVENT, JJ's Bistro & Brewery at Bonanzaville <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Koenig moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve special event <br />permit for JJ's Bistro & Brewery, Inc. to serve alcoholic beverages at <br />Bonanzaville, USA located at the Red River Valley Fairgrounds on the <br />date of July 28, 1998, in accordance with their letter dated May 20, <br />1998. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />6. ASSESSMENT NOTICE OF OMITTED PROPERTY, Gregory and Rebecca Barker <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Koenig moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to add a 9.79 acre tract <br />and a 28 acre tract in the NE% of Section 1, Township 142, Range 50 <br />as omitted property for the year 1997 in the amount of $5,200 <br />agricultural land and $14,700 agricultural land, according to notice <br />from the county auditor to Gregory and Rebecca Barker, Gardner, ND. <br />On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br />
