<br />Commission Minutes-May 4, 1998 1804 <br /> <br />less than the requested value. On roll call vote, motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Koenig moved and Mr. Meyer seconded that Abatement #4108 be <br />reduced to a residential structure value of $4,000 plus a land value of <br />$15,400, for a total value of $19,400, as recommended by the Director <br />of Equalization. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Koenig moved and Mr. Meyer seconded that Abatement #4104 be <br />approved, as recommended by the Stanley Township Board and the <br />Director of Equalization. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Koenig moved and Mr. Meyer seconded that Abatement #4109 be <br />approved, as recommended by the Arthur Township Board and the <br />Director of Equalization. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Koenig moved and Mr. Meyer seconded that Abatement #4102 be <br />reduced to $11,600 and classified as agricultural land, as <br />recommended by the Reed Township Board and the Director of <br />Equalization. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />6. ELECTION INSPECTORS, 1998 primary election <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Koenig moved and Mr. Meyer seconded to approve 1998 election <br />inspectors according to list provided by the County Auditor's Office. <br />On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />7. CHILD SUPPORT ENFORCEMENT, Budget amendment <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Koenig moved and Mr. Meyer seconded to adjust the 1998 <br />expenditure budget of the Southeast Regional Child Support <br />Enforcement Unit by $4,000 for purchase of computer equipment and <br />cabling. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />8. INFORMATION SERVICES, Budget amendment <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Koenig moved and Mr. Meyer seconded to amend the budget for <br />Information Services as outlined in the letter from the county auditor <br />dated April 24, 1998, in order to pay for modems, cabling, installation <br />and data line charge for lap top computers in patrol cars. Costs will <br />be shared with the Cities of Fargo and Moorhead, and Cass County's <br />share will be paid by a grant in the Sheriff's Department. On roll call <br />vote, motion carried unanimously. <br />
