<br />Commission Minutes-April 6, 1998 1795 <br /> <br />Mr. Meyer also attended the Flood Master Plan Committee meeting, and he reported on a meeting <br />at the Reed Township Hall concerning County Road 20 improvements. Mr. Wieland said Keith <br />Berndt, County Engineer, did a good job conducting that meeting. He has a proposal for Mr. <br />Berndt to do some engineering work that may be a compromise for the residents south of this road <br />who fear worse flooding if the improvement project is approved. <br /> <br />Bonnie Johnson reported that fans have been installed in the attic roof at the Cass County Annex, <br />and the electrical work will be done this week. <br /> <br />19. CORRESPONDENCE, Received and filed <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Quick moved and Mr. Meyer seconded to receive and file <br />correspondence outlined by the secretary as follows: Motion carried. <br /> <br />information from North Dakota Department of Health concerning modification permit for City <br />of Fargo to construct and operate a permanent Household Hazardous Waste facility so <br />hazardous wastes are not disposed in the landfill; <br /> <br />update of State Building Code from Office of Intergovernmental Assistance; <br /> <br />letter of appreciation from Senator Donna Nalewaja for the Board's resolution congratulating <br />her on her retirement from the State Senate; <br /> <br />North Dakota Department of Transportation notice of bid opening in Bismarck on April 16, <br />1998,9:30 AM, for Legal Drain #2 project west of Harwood; <br /> <br />letter from Richard, Terri, Tim and Jill Springer supporting County Road 20 improvement <br />project. <br /> <br />20.
