SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT, Budget amendment <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Meyer moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to adjust the expenditure <br />budget for the Sheriff's Department Support and Operations budgets by <br />$1,587 and $1,575 respectively, according to letter from Sheriff Don <br />Rudnick. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />11. PERSONNEL POLICY MANUAL, Amend Section 4.00. Record of Employment <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Meyer moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to amend Personnel Policy <br />Manual Section 4.00, Record of Employment, deleting the language <br />pertaining to selling employee lists which contain personal information, <br />in order to be consistent with North Dakota Century Code Section 44-04- <br />18.1 and Personnel Overview Committee action of September 15, 1997. <br />On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />12. ROAD DEPARTMENT, Purchase order for used semi truck <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Meyer moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to authorize chairperson to <br />sign purchase order for a used 1994 Kenworth truck-tractor with <br />modifications for $52,220.00. On roll call vote, motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />13. CONTRACT APPROVAL, Joint Powers Agreement with Northern Cass School District: AT&T <br />Corporation: North Dakota Department of Human Services <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Meyer moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve the following <br />contracts submitted by respective department head and portfolio <br />commissioner, subject to State's Attorney approval; and authorize the <br />chairman to sign. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Joint Powers Agreement--Northern Cass Public School District elections; <br /> <br />AT&T--Master Tower Site Lease Agreement and Site Supplement; <br /> <br />North Dakota Department of Human Services--translation services for the refugee <br />population in Cass County. <br /> <br />14. SOCIAL SERVICES, Budget adiustment <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Meyer moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to ratify budget adjustment <br />for a new staff position, as approved at the Social Services Board <br />meeting held earlier today. On roll call vote, motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />
