RESOLUTION #1998-6, Spring road weight restrictions
Mr. Berndt next presented a resolution to implement spring county road weight restrictions on
February 23, 1998, based upon the weather forecast for the rest of the week. Mr. Meyer asked
if this action would interfere with moving flood-damaged homes from rural subdivisions. Mr.
Berndt said implementing these road restrictions does not preclude the issuance of a special
permit for moving a home; however, he said those homes should be moved in the next 1-2 weeks
because of the unseasonably warm weather. Mr. Goff asked about the Cass County Highway
1998 Spring Weight Restrictions Map as referenced in the resolution, and Mr. Berndt said a copy
will be filed with the resolution. The map was reviewed earlier today at the County Road Advisory
Committee meeting.
MOTION, passed
Mrs. Quick moved and Mr. Koenig seconded to adopt Resolution #1998-
6 as follows: On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously.
