Commission Minutes-February 2, 1998 1776 Mr. Rustad said the West Fargo Fire Department would like to perform a fire drill on one house near Gardner that was on the buy-out list but was not purchased by anyone. The West Fargo Fire Department should contact the township officials and the local fire department where the home is located to obtain a burning permit. Moving of houses purchased in the Phase I Hazard Mitigation Acquisition Program has begun, according to Mr. Rustad. Mr. Berndt was agreeable to using county equipment and crews to fill a hole left by the first house that was moved but could not commit to helping with all 35 of them. 13. VOUCHERS, Approved MOTION, passed Mrs. Quick moved and Mr. Koenig seconded to approve Voucher No. 111,264 through No. 111,743. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. 14. EMPLOYEE-RELATED HEALTH SEMINARS, Committee report Bonnie Johnson has been contacted by a North Dakota safety consultant group about providing health seminars for county employees at no charge, other than taking time off work to attend. Commissioners were in agreement to allow such a program. 15. CORRESPONDENCE, Received and filed MOTION, passed Mr. Koenig moved and Mrs. Quick seconded to receive and file correspondence outlined by the secretary as follows: Motion carried. appreciation letter from Cass County Historical Society for 1998 budget contribution; notice of extension of time in which to file comments on the Alliance Pipeline Project Draft Environmental Impact Statement until and including March 2, 1998; North Dakota Department of Transportation notice of bid opening at 9:30 AM February 20, 1998, for bituminous overlay on county road north of Mapleton. 16. ADJOURNMENT MOTION, passed On motion by Mrs. Quick and seconded by Mr. Koenig, the meeting was adjourned about 5:30 PM.
