Commission Minutes--December 15, 1997 1752 <br /> <br />DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ <br /> <br /> REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> DECEMBER 16, 1997 <br />MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairman Alon Wieland called the meeting to order at 3:45 PM with all members present as <br />follows: Donna Schneider, Paul Koenig, John Meyer, Roberta Quick and Alon VVieland. <br /> <br />MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Quick moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to approve minutes of <br /> the last meeting held December 1, 1997. Motion carried. <br /> <br />AGENDA, Order ap.oroved MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Koenig seconded to approve the order of <br /> the agenda with the following additions to the consent agenda: 1) <br /> contract with Steele County for boarding prisoners; 2) contract with <br /> Honeywell for preventive maintenance at Courthouse, Jail and Annex; 3) <br /> lease agreement with Northwestern College for KFNW tower space <br /> rental; and 4) Veterans Service Office budget adjustment. Motion <br /> carried. <br /> <br />ABATEMENT APPLICATION, Approved for Lee Christoferson. Sr. MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Koenig moved and Mr. Meyer seconded that abatement #4086 for Lee <br /> Christoferson, Sr. be lowered to $6,000 true and full value for 1995 and <br /> 1996. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />BUDGET ADJUSTMENTS, Auditor, County_ Engineer. and County_ Coordinator <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Koenig moved and Mr. Meyer seconded to approve 1997 budget <br /> adjustments as outlined in a letter dated December 6, 1997, from the <br /> County Auditor for the Sheriff's Department budget, County Park budget, <br /> Chrisan Subdivision and Forest River Subdivision sinking and interest <br /> funds. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Koenig moved and Mr. Meyer seconded to approve residual equity <br />transfers for the Chrisan Subdivision and Riverdale Subdivision funds <br />as outlined in letter dated December 6, 1997, from the County Auditor. <br />On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Koenig moved and Mr. Meyer seconded to amend the 1997 Road <br />Department revenue and expenditure budget by $3.6 million to account <br />for disaster funding received and expended. On roll call vote, motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />
