Commission Minutes--November 17, 1997 1742 <br /> <br />DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> NOVEMBER 17, 1997 <br /> <br />MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairman Alon Wieland called the meeting to order at 3:40 PM with all members present as <br />follows: Donna Schneider, Paul Koenig, John Meyer, Roberta Quick and Alon Wieiand. <br /> <br />= <br /> <br />MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Schneider moved and Mrs. Quick seconded to approve minutes of <br /> the last regular meeting held November 3, 1997. Motion carried. <br /> <br />m <br /> <br />AGENDA, Order approved MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Meyer moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to approve the order of <br /> the agenda with the following additions: 1) resolution of condolence to <br /> the family of the late John Korsmo; and 2) request to adopt Fargo- <br /> Moorhead Metropolitan Council of Governments "Fringe Land Use Guide <br /> and Street Plan." Motion carried. <br /> <br />= <br /> <br />VETERAN'S SERVICE OFFICE REMODELING, Bid awarded to D.C. Trautman <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Quick moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to accept the Iow bid of <br /> D.C. Trautman in the amount of $30,250 for Veteran's Service Office <br /> remodeling in the Cass County Government Annex. On roll call vote, <br /> motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />VETERAN'S SERVICE OFFICE, Budpet ad_iustment approved for computer equipment <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Quick moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to allow the expenditure <br /> of $2,050.00 for new computer equipment at the Veteran's Service Office, <br /> and direct the County Auditor to make appropriate budget adjustment. <br /> On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />ROAD DEPARTMENT, Chairman to sign purchase orders for suburban and pickups <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Quick moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to authorize the <br /> Chairman to sign purchase orders for one (1) 8600 GVW Suburban 4x4 <br /> from Stan Puklich Chevrolet and two (2) 8600 GVW 4x4 Extended Cab <br /> Pickups from Ressler Chevrolet, Inc. On roll call vote, motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> <br />CONTRACT APPROVAL, Emerg_ency Manac]_ement and U.S. Justice Department <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Quick moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to approve the <br /> following contracts submitted by respective department head and <br /> <br /> <br />
