<br />Commission Minutes--February 6, 2006 3028 <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />FEBRUARY 6, 2006 <br /> <br />1. MEETING CALLED TO ORDER <br />Chairman Vern Bennett called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all members present as <br />follows: Scott Wagner; Vern Bennett, Ken Pawluk, Darrell Vanyo and Robyn Sorum. <br /> <br />2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br />Mike Montplaisir led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> <br />3. MINUTES APPROVED <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Sorum moved and Mr. Wagner seconded that the minutes of the <br />previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. <br /> <br />~ ORDER OF AGENDA APPROVED <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Pawluk moved and Mr. Vanyo seconded to approve the order of the <br />agenda with the addition of an item to the regular agenda regarding a <br />request for support of the Red River Valley Water Supply project at an <br />upcoming hearing. Motion carried. <br /> <br />5. CONSENT AGENDA APPROVED <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Vanyo moved and Mrs. Sorum seconded to approve the consent <br />agenda as follows: On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />a. Ratify Social Service Board action adjusting the vacant assistant state's attorney <br />position in Cass County Social Services from .9 FTE to a full-time position, effective <br />February 15, 2006. <br />b. Amend raffle permit dates for Minn-Kota Feline Club from two dates in April to the <br />dates of August 19 and August 20,2006. <br />c. Approve Final Plat of Northland Pines Subdivision in Section 14, Gardner Township. <br />d. Authorize chairman to sign purchase order for vector control equipment as follows: <br />one London Fog XKE fogger from Adapco, Inc. of Sanford, Florida for $4,998.50, <br />two Maryuama backpack sprayers from Adapco, Inc. of Sanford, Florida totaling <br />$1,042.30, and one 2006 Chevy Colorado Extended Cab Pickup from Rydell Auto <br />Center, Grand Forks, NO for $12,699. <br />e. Authorize the county engineer or designee to sign right of way certifications, utility <br />relocations and adjustment agreements for Federal Aid projects. <br />f. Contracts: <br />Cities of Mapleton, Casselton, Horace and Kindred--police service contracts; <br />Lease of flood property--Calvin Fercho, William Fercho and John Fercho. <br />
