Commission Minutes--October 20, 1997 1728 DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OCTOBER 20, 1997 MEETING TO ORDER Chairman Alon Wieland called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all members present as follows: Donna Schneider, Paul Koenig, John Meyer, Roberta Quick and Alon Wieland. MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed Mrs. Quick moved and Mr. Koenig seconded that the minutes of the previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. AGENDA, Order approved MOTION, passed Mr. Meyer moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to approve the order of the agenda with the following additions: contract with Cellular One under contract approvals on the consent agenda and Highway Department request regarding salt brine on the regular agenda. Motion carried. COMMISSION POLICY MANUAL, Amend Section 4.00, Advisory Boards MOTION, passed Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Koenig seconded to amend Commission Policy Manual Section 4.00, Advisory Boards, by re-appointing John Meyer and Paul Koenig as Cass County's representatives on the Fargo- Cass County Economic Development Corporation's Board of Directors for the year 1998. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. PLAT APPROVAL, Richard's 2nd: Harry_ Johnson Subdivision; Von Hagen ~ubdivision MOTION, passed Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Koenig seconded to grant approval of the request for variance from the local road right-of-way standard and grant Final Plat approval to Richard 2nd Subdivision, NW 1/4 of Section 6 of Township 138N, Range 49W in Cass County, North Dakota. On roll call vote, motion carded unanimously. MOTION, passed Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Koenig seconded to grant Final Plat approval to Harry Johnson Subdivision, NE 114 of Section 9 of Township 140N, Range 60W in Cass County, North Dakota. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. MOTION, passed Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Koenig seconded to grant Final Plat approval to Von Hagen Subdivision, SE 114 of Section 26 of Township 138N, Range 53W in Cass County, North Dakota. On roll call vote, motion carded unanimously.
