On roll call vote, <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Meyer moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to approve out-of-state <br />travel for Juvenile Officers Jim Grimley, Tom Larson and Mary Standal to <br />attend the Heartland Juvenile Services Training Institute September 14-17, <br />1997, in Omaha, NE. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />SOCIAL SERVICES, Out-of-state travel approved MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Meyer moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to approve out-of-state <br /> travel for Leslie Johnson to place a child in foster care August 15, 1997, <br /> in Fergus Falls, MN. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />RAFFLE AND BINGO PERMIT, Approved for Four Corners Wildlife Club <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Meyer moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to approve raffle and <br /> bingo permit for Four Comers Wildlife Club to be held November 24, 1997, <br /> at the Embden Community Club, Embden, ND. On roll call vote, motion <br /> carried unanimously. <br /> <br />COMMISSION POLICY MANUAL AMENDED, Personnel Overview Committee appointment <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Meyer moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to amend Commission <br /> Policy Manual, Standing Committees, by appointing Kathleen Wilkinson <br /> to the Personnel Overview Committee, representing county employees, to <br /> replace Jim Brent for the term expiring December 31, 1997. On roll call <br /> vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />COMPUTER EQUIPMENT, Authorize disposal according to county policy <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Meyer moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to authorize the Data <br /> Processing Department to dispose of surplus computer equipment <br /> according to Commission Policy Manual Section 14.81, Sale of Used <br /> Computer Equipment. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />CONTRACT APPROVAL, Industrial Builders and Swingen Construction <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Meyer moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to approve the following <br /> contracts submitted by respective department head and portfolio <br /> commissioner, subject to State's Attorney approval; and authorize the <br /> chairman to sign.
