Commission Minutes--August 26, 1997 1698 <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Schneider moved and Mrs. Quick seconded to refer the request for <br />a promotion of Glenn Ellingsberg to the Personnel Overview Committee. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Since the request may be premature, Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Meyer <br />seconded to delete $400,000 in revenue and $400,000 in expenses for field <br />equipment and radios; and make a budget adjustment for an increase in <br />9-1-1 fees if passed by the voters at a future election. On roll call vote, <br />motion carried with four members present voting "Aye." <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Schneider moved and Mrs. Quick seconded to decrease board of <br />prisoners line item by $30,000 for a total budget of $100,000. Sheriff <br />Rudnick is projecting to spend $85,000 from the line item this year. On <br />roll call vote, motion carried with four members present voting "Aye." <br /> <br />Mrs. Schneider asked if a mobile data terminal switch in the amount of $63,500 could be delayed <br />for a year, Sheriff Rudnick believes this is a cost-share item with the City of West Fargo and will <br />obtain further information from Mr. Ellingsberg in the next week. <br /> <br />Metropolitan Council of Governments MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Quick moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to fund the Fargo- <br /> Moorhead Metropolitan Council of Governments at $6,300, as requested. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> <br />Rural <br /> <br />Ambulance Services <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Meyer seconded to fund rural ambulances <br />at $151,400 for 1998.
