Commission Minutes--August 26, 1997 1698 MOTION, passed Mrs. Schneider moved and Mrs. Quick seconded to refer the request for a promotion of Glenn Ellingsberg to the Personnel Overview Committee. Motion carried. MOTION, passed Since the request may be premature, Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Meyer seconded to delete $400,000 in revenue and $400,000 in expenses for field equipment and radios; and make a budget adjustment for an increase in 9-1-1 fees if passed by the voters at a future election. On roll call vote, motion carried with four members present voting "Aye." MOTION, passed Mrs. Schneider moved and Mrs. Quick seconded to decrease board of prisoners line item by $30,000 for a total budget of $100,000. Sheriff Rudnick is projecting to spend $85,000 from the line item this year. On roll call vote, motion carried with four members present voting "Aye." Mrs. Schneider asked if a mobile data terminal switch in the amount of $63,500 could be delayed for a year, Sheriff Rudnick believes this is a cost-share item with the City of West Fargo and will obtain further information from Mr. Ellingsberg in the next week. Metropolitan Council of Governments MOTION, passed Mrs. Quick moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to fund the Fargo- Moorhead Metropolitan Council of Governments at $6,300, as requested. Motion carried. Rural Ambulance Services MOTION, passed Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Meyer seconded to fund rural ambulances at $151,400 for 1998. On roll call vote, motion carried with three members voting "Aye" and Mr. Wieland opposing. ADJOURNMENT Chairman Wieland declared the meeting recessed at 5:15 PM.
