25. <br /> <br />26. <br /> <br />27. <br /> <br />Commission Minutes--July 7, 1997 1662 <br /> <br />LEONARD COMMUNITY MEETING, INTERIM LEGISLATIVE COMMITTEES, HISTORICAL <br />SOCIETY LUNCHEON, Committee reports <br />Mrs. Quick reminded commissioners of the community meeting in Leonard tomorrow morning. Mr. <br />Wieland and Mr. Meyer have a meeting at 8:00 AM but do not expect the meeting to last long. They <br />both plan on attending the community meeting. <br /> <br />Mr. Wieland said Mrs. Johnson, who left the meeting early, asked him to report that notices from <br />interim legislative committees are being received and suggested everyone review the notices and <br />make any comments. <br /> <br />Mr. Wieland said the Cass County Historical Society has scheduled an appreciation luncheon for <br />the Cass County Commissioners on Friday, August 8, 1997, from 12:00 to 1:30 PM. <br /> <br />CORRESPONDENCE, Received and filed MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Meyer seconded to receive and file <br /> correspondence outlined by the secretary as follows: Motion carried. <br /> <br />notice from Charles Shumaker, North Dakota Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, <br />that the Cass County Jail and Juvenile Detention Center are in compliance with North Dakota <br />Law and Jail Rules (recent annual inspection completed June 3, 1997); <br /> <br />letter of appreciation from North Dakota Division of Emergency Management for participation <br />of Glenn Ellingsberg, Cass County Emergency Manager, in the 1997 Boys State activities; <br /> <br />three letters from Office of Intergovernmental Assistance regarding Housing and Urban <br />Development disaster funds and regarding changes in funding distribution for Community <br />Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds; <br /> <br />notification of appeal by D.T.L.
