Commission Minutes--April 28, 1997 1612 <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Koenig moved and Mrs. Quick seconded to ratify the clean-up plan <br />established by the County Engineer, Keith Berndt, for the purpose of <br />aiding rural residents with sand and sandbag disposal. On roll call <br />vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Koenig moved and Mrs. Quick seconded to permit Grand Forks <br />County to house juvenile offenders at the Cass County Detention <br />Center at no cost for the next 30 days, as long as space is available. <br />On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />LETTER OF CONDOLENCE, Everette Mattson family MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Koenig moved and Mrs. Quick seconded to send a letter of <br /> condolence to the family of the late Everette Mattson, who served on <br /> the senior citizen bus committee. On roll call vote, motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> <br />PERMITS FOR SITE AUTHORIZATION, Veterans Inc. at Club 94 and at Bronco Bar <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Koenig moved and Mrs. Quick seconded to grant site authorization <br /> permits to conduct games of chance under license issued by North <br /> Dakota Attorney General's Office for the period of July 1, 1997 through <br /> June 30, 1998 as follows: Veterans Incorporated at Club 94, Casselton <br /> and Bronco Bar, Chaffee. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />SOCIAL SERVICES, Out-of-state travel approved MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Koenig moved and Mrs. Quick seconded to approve out-of-state <br /> travel for Judy Tollefson and Elisabeth Schiltz to attend Minnesota <br /> Fraud Investigator's Association Training Conference in Deerwood, MN <br /> May 6-9, 1997. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />AUDITOR, Out-of-state travel approved MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Koenig moved and Mrs. Quick seconded to approve out-of-state <br /> travel for Michael Montplaisir to attend the GFOA Conference in Fort <br /> Lauderdale, FL on May 29-June 4, 1997. On roll call vote, motion <br /> carried unanimously. <br /> <br />LOST <br /> <br />INSTRUMENT BOND, Received and filed for Constance Cleveland <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Koenig moved and Mrs. Quick seconded to receive and file <br />Indemnity Bond on Lost Instrument for Constance Cleveland; and <br />authorize the county treasurer and the county auditor to issue duplicate <br />checks. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />
