10. <br /> <br />11. <br /> <br />Commission Minutes--February 18, 1997 1588 <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Koenig moved and Mrs. Quick seconded to authorize the vice chair <br />to sign purchase order in the amount of $6,010 for lease of two modular <br />space trailers with GE Capital Modular for a period of not less than <br />sixty days or more than one hundred twenty days. On roll call vote, <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />ABATEMENT APPLICATION, A_~_~roved for David & Michelle Martin <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Koenig moved and Mrs. Quick seconded that abatement #4065 and <br /> #4066 be approved as recommended by the Eldred Township Board <br /> and the Director of Equalization. On roll call vote, motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> <br />STATE'S ATTORNEY, Out-of-state travel approved MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Koenig moved and Mrs. Quick seconded to approve out-of-state <br /> travel for State's Attorney John Goff, President of the North Dakota <br /> State's Attomeys Association, to attend the National District Attorneys <br /> Association board meeting in Palm Springs, Califomia, March 6-9, 1997. <br /> On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />CONTRACT APPROVAL, Centre; Metropolitan Council of Governments; Office Depot <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Koenig moved and Mrs. Quick seconded to approve the following <br /> contracts submitted by respective department head and portfolio <br /> commissioner, subject to State's Attorney approval; and authorize the <br /> chairman to sign: On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />- Centre, Inc. purchase of service agreement; <br />- Metropolitan Council of Governments transportation planning agreement; <br />- Office Depot for purchase of office supplies <br /> <br />CDBG DISASTER ASSISTANCE/KINDRED, Lake Aa_assiz Regional Council request <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Koenig moved and Mrs. Quick seconded to authorize the vice chair <br /> to sign application and resolution of sponsorship for Kindred CDBG <br /> (Community Development Block Grant) 104-134 Disaster Assistance. <br /> On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />STATE'S ATTORNEY INVESTIGATOR, Transfer to ~heriff's Department approved <br />Sheriff Rudnick said there has been some discussion at budget time and just prior to the first of <br />the year about the State's Attorney investigator position being transferred to the Sheriff's Office. <br />If it is a Commission decision to make this transfer, Mr. Rudnick said he expressed his concerns <br />to Commissioners Wieland and Koenig a couple of weeks ago. Those concerns relate to office <br />equipment, telephone and budget. As far as services provided to the State's Attorney's Office, <br />Sheriff Rudnick said the services may be provided by a different person on occasion, however, <br />the same service will be provided as in the past. <br /> <br /> <br />
