On roll call vote, motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> <br />CONTRACT APPROVAL, Faru_o Cass Public Health MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Meyer moved and Mrs. Quick seconded to approve the following <br /> contract submitted by respective department head and portfolio <br /> commissioner, subject to State's Attorney approval; and authorize the <br /> chairman to sign: Fargo Cass Public Health agreement for provision of <br /> health services, including jail nursing. On roll call vote, motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #1997-1, ~heriff's Deputy Michael Grande recovery <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Meyer moved and Mrs. Quick seconded to approve the following <br /> resolution of support for Deputy Sheriff Michael Grande, as read by the <br /> chairman: On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Deputy Sheriff Michael Grande has been employed by Cass County since January <br /> 1, 1986; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Deputy Sheriff Michael Grande has become a highly respected member of the <br /> Sheriff's Department and the area law enforcement community; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Deputy Sheriff Michael Grande had kidney and pancreas transplant surgery in <br /> Rochester, Minnesota, on December 4, 1996; <br /> <br />THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Cass County Board of Commissioners wishes Deputy <br />Michael Grande Godspeed in his recovery and looks forward to his return to employment. <br /> <br />Approved and adopted this 6th day of January, 1997. <br /> <br /> <br />
