Commission Minutes--January 17, 2006 3027 16. MEETING UPDATES; HISTORICAL SOCIETY OPEN RECORDS REQUEST; STATE'S ATTORNEY OFFICE UPDATE, Committee reports Commissioners reported on meetings they have attended in the past two weeks, as well as upcoming meetings. Mr. Wagner said he received an open records request from a member of the local media regarding the Cass County Historical Society, since they receive public funds from the county to operate Bonanzaville, U.S.A. The executive director of the agency has now complied with the records request. Jonathan Anderson read a written statement prepared by Mr. Burdick to update the board on his testimony at a recent federal budget hearing requesting continued drug grant funding because increased methamphetamine problems are a shared federal and state issue. 17. CORRESPONDENCE, Received and filed MOTION, passed Mr. Wagner moved and Mr. Pawluk seconded to receive and file correspondence outlined by the secretary as follows: Motion carried. Information letter and copy of agreement from Attorney Sean M. Fredricks, Ohnstad Twichell, P.C. regarding the formation of a joint water resource district between the Southeast Cass and the Rush River water boards; Certified letter from the City of Enderlin, North Dakota, containing notice of public hearing on a proposed zoning change to be held at 7:00 PM on February 6, 2006, in the Enderlin City Auditor's Office; North Dakota Department of Transportation letter on future county Federal Aid projects (copy referred to Rich Sieg, County Highway Department). 18. ADJOURNMENT MOTION, passed On motion by Mr. Wagner, seconded by Mrs. Sorum and all in favor, the meeting was adjourned at 4:55 PM.
