<br />Commission Minutes--January 17, 2006 3023 <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />JANUARY 17, 2006 <br /> <br />1. MEETING CALLED TO ORDER <br />Chairman Vern Bennett called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with four members present <br />as follows: Scott Wagner, Vern Bennett, Ken Pawluk and Robyn Sorum. Darrell Vanyo was <br />absent. <br /> <br />2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br />Ken Pawluk led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> <br />3. MINUTES APPROVED <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wagner moved and Mrs. Sorum seconded that the minutes of the <br />previous meeting of January 3,2006 be approved as written. Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />4. AGENDA, Order approved <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Pawluk moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to approve the order of the <br />agenda with the following changes: 1) move item g on the consent <br />agenda to the regular agenda; and 2) add Otis Elevator Company under <br />contract approvals. Motion carried. <br /> <br />5. EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT, Appointment to Food and Shelter Proaram board <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Pawluk moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to appoint Emergency <br />Manager Dave Rogness as Cass County's representative on the local <br />FEMA Emergency Food and Shelter Program board. On roll call vote, the <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />6. PERMIT FOR RAFFLE AND BINGO, Approved for Four Corners Wildlife Club <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Pawluk moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to approve a raffle and <br />bingo permit for the Four Corners Wildlife Club to be held February 4, <br />2006, at the Embden Senior Center in Embden, North Dakota. On roll call <br />vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />7. EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT, Budaet adiustment approved <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Pawluk moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to amend the emergency <br />management revenue budget (101-3701-331.55-03) and the expenditure <br />budget (101-3701-427.74-12) in the amount of $1,601,104.11 for the 2004 <br />and 2005 Federal Fiscal Year grants for the purchase of emergency <br />equipment and training. On roll call vote, the motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />
