Commission Minutes--September 16, 1996 1513 DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS SEPTEMBER 16, 1996 MEETING TO ORDER Chairman Sharon "Pepper" Toussaint called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all members present as follows: Don Eckert, Alon Wieland, Donna Schneider, Bernie Ness and Sharon "Pepper" Toussaint. MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Ness seconded that the minutes of the previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. AGENDA, Order a~Droved MOTION, passed Mr. Ness moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve the order of the agenda, adding an item for payment of transportation from the Contingency Fund for a veteran requiring medical care in another facility. Motion carried. SOCIAL SERVICES, Out-of-state travel approved MOTION, passed Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve out-of- state travel for Kathy Hogan to attend seminar on Federal Welfare Reform Legislation in Minneapolis, MN on September 16 and 17, 1996. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. DATA PROCESSING/CLERK OF COURT, Out-of-state travel MOTION, passed Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve out-of- state travel for Mike Steiner and Dorothy Howard to attend an on-site visit and demonstration of the Dupage County Courts Imaging System in Chicago, IL on October 28 and 29, 1996. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. PERMIT FOR SPECIAL EVENT, Holiday Inn at Bonanzaville MOTION, passed Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve special event permit for Fargo Holiday Inn to serve alcoholic beverages at Bonanzaville on the date of September 17, 1996. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously.
